Sep 2024 – present

  • Reusable Java Spring Boot microservices, React components and GitHub Actions workflows for an internal coding-challenge platform, including its authentication and registration flows on AWS Cognito and SNS.
  • Migrated parts of the USCIS adjudication application from Angular to React, and shipped business logic and front-end features for high-volume form types including N-400, I-765 and I-485.
  • Program-wide Build Cop. Found runtime race conditions affecting half of all builds: empty releases, and long checkout stages that pulled different versions of the code. Fixed the determinism.
  • Wrote Python data-collection scripts that unblocked processing for 7,500+ stalled cases.

Software Engineer Intern

  • Refactored a full-stack Python / React / MySQL application the DoD uses to estimate cloud migration costs.
  • Integrated Amazon's Bulk Price List API to automate price updates for 7,000+ systems.
  • Added features and rebuilt UI in an Agile workflow, with test suites in PyTest.
